Tenant Protections: Strengthen rent stabilization laws, ban predatory evictions, and provide legal support for tenants facing harassment or wrongful eviction.

Homeowners

Homeownership Support:

Expand Open Door, a middle income house ownership program for condos and co-ops to single family homes. 

Offer financial literacy workshops and first-time homebuyer assistance to increase the district’s homeownership rate.

Property Tax Reform: Push for equitable property tax policies that reduce tax burdens on middle-class homeowners while ensuring fair contributions from luxury properties.
